john, that's the answer. Pray first to have God reveal His will
then pray for His will to happen. Your prayers will get answered
almost everytime that way.

Since we are on SI I'll use this example
Prayer starts with a blank check. Ask God to tell you
what to put on the check. Then God will sign it.
If you fill in the check then God is not obligated to sign it.
He may sign it but He doesn't have too.

Good example is Lazarus, Surely someone would have prayed immediately
that Lazarus not to die physically (filled in the check). But,
God wouldn't have signed that check. Instead Jesus prayed that this
was not unto death. And God did signed that. days later that check
got cashed and everybody then knew although for a while it looked
like the check bounced.

I hope this God and checks and money doesn't start an uproar
like it did last time <g>

ps. I drive one merc that is 7 yrs old and has 100,000 miles.
And another 3+yr old Mazda with almost 50k. No cadilacs <g>
