After a trip, a few years ago, to Thailand, my wife refuses even to talk about going again to the far east. It was interesting, but at some point she got pretty sick. Bangkok, Chiangmai - and most other places we visited - stunk. Literally. They had places where sewers were open. Clouds of blue smoke over busy streets. In Chiangmai the guide told me that the traffic in the city increased ten time over in as many years. For us, one trip was enough.
