Men & prophecy , its just what men love to do whether in Jesus time , Muhammed's time or any other time ... in almost every culture in the human race one could always find some equal expression of the "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" saying . These so called ancient prophecies were really young for it all goes back much farther just as you can find the "do unto others" golden rule idea. Men have always sought for the sources & secrets of wisdom , to unravel the keys of life , to escape suffering , experience glory & triumph . (defeat/cheat death)
