The quote was NOT of of context. You are a liar. The quote says exactly what it says:

“Modern liberal scholarship, says Marcus Borg, regards the biblical accounts of the birth of Jesus as symbolic narratives rather than factual history.[10] Thus, according to Paul L. Maier, the majority of Herod biographers and theologians hold that the Massacre of the Innocents is "legend and not historical":[11

Let us try once again. According to one of your favourite "100 Huntley Street” Christians: “the majority of Herod biographers and theologians hold that the Massacre of the Innocents is "legend and not historical".

Hint! That does not suggest or mean that 100 Huntley believes that THE MAJORITY of Herod biographers and theologians are correct. It that the Christian in question believes that most qualified theologians believe that the biblical stuff about Herod is fiction and not historical.

Do you need more help with this? Yes?? No??
