This stat should shock you: in 2008, those unemployed for a year or more were appx. 9.5% of the total unemployed. Today, more than 25%. Your pal, JohnM at the centrist board, is killing me today. Maintains that Japan has not used Keynesian methods to solve its economic problems. Lol! His clutch is seriously slipping. If he weren't so arrogant and slippery, I'd feel bad for him.
