Obama is a Christian, its your machine who keeps attaking his former Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright in Chicago...you can't have it both ways.
Technically speaking, according to Muslim Shari'a (muslim law), Obama was born a Muslim based upon his Paternal Father's religion. Therefore, from the point of view of Muslims, he is also Muslim.
This is the primary reason that Saudi Arabia, the self-proclaimed "Guardians" of the Islamic faith, refuse to repatriate children of custody battles who are kidnapped and taken to SA. They hold that the father has automatic legal custody of children irregardless if the mother is Muslim.
The Muslim father is the ultimate decision maker regarding how the children are raised, as well as where they may travel.

As an American, the only thing that matters to me is how Obama perceives himself, and the people with whom he derives inspiration and mentorship. Therefore, it's entirely justifiable to hold Obama accountable for his relationships with Rev. Wright, and Bill Ayers.. etc.. These were decisions he made of his own volition. And he chose to align himself with the extremist (militant?) views of Rev. Wright:

And I'm sure that Obama is no longer the man he was when he came into office. Being President, by it's very nature, reshapes a person's thinking since, as Truman put it, "the buck stops here". But that said, I'm not sure that his advisors have changed their mindsets. And he depends heavily upon their advice.
