He was married, she had children from a previous marriage. As soon as he was diagnosed with the MS she left. You ask a question that I don't know the answer to------did the wife get his SS retirement or his retirement from teaching-----I don't know. One of my other brothers handled his estate which was not large considering he was a high school math teacher and coach. I try not to put personal info on the messages-----but the discussion about the baby boomers really got to me. People throw around these statistics without having all of the facts. Sure x number of people were born----but how many of them have died and as you noted will never receive a dime from the SS.
