I didn't hear any cry for GW Bush's records, or complaints about records of his life that had mysteriously disappeared.

You didn't? I remember hearing stuff for years related to his NatGuard flight status, as well as his mediocre grades while at Yale, including his participation in "Skull and Bones".

I think they are pertinent to a candidates history, especially if it's becoming an issue to their qualifications to be President.

Personally, there's nothing illegal about a President getting bad grades in College, so I could care less what Obama's grades were.

HOWEVER, it would be a VERY GRIEVOUS CRIME were a President be covering up the fact that they attended College as a foreign student. That would be fraud, as well as evidence that he attempted to maintain ambiguity as to his citizenship.

Btw.. it wasn't just the "birthers" who had doubts about Obama's citizenship status. His Democratic rivals also held such doubts..

Therefore, the ORIGINAL "birthers" were the Clintons..

But, of course, political expediency now make it necessary for them to attempt to assert it's a Republican conspiracy.
