<<cash>> ... not necessarily

may be best to to refrain from absolute usa-centric analysis and embrace a more broad approach

(i) what usd and any flavors of cash would do during the mother of all cratering centered around new york may depend on how quickly the usa politicians put in place national emergency contingency plans and essentially put usa banks on holiday and limit cash withdraw pending add-zero machination ala argentina

(ii) at moment of trial by default usd cash may not be acceptable internationally, even as gold is accepted all around the planet, and if such scenario plays out, the global and therefore all local pricing of gold may overwhelm any margin call triggered gold sales because economic entities may simply hoard gold and puke paper, hoping that the courts would be jammed up as they expedite the pilfering of physical from one and all - iow, absolute chaos and economic survival imperative and financial darwinism

(iii) i suspect we are still quite aways from the moment of truth per david stockman as he underestimates the power of central banking to destroy utterly all

(iv) am reaffirming 6-14 years countdown
