Bentway,
Ayn Rand or Jesus Christ? Conservatives Can't Have It Both Ways

Another truth-twisting commentary from AlterNet.

Ayn Rand was against religion, but unlike what AlterNet claims, she wasn't against compassion and generosity.

What she was against was irrational compassion and generosity. You know, the kind that many (but not all) liberals believe in.

This isn't the first time liberals have twisted Ayn Rand in order to marginalize her philosophies. And although there are many areas in which Rand and Jesus cannot be reconciled, there is absolutely no way Rand can be reconciled with secular liberalism.

Which means, of course, that liberals want to be both for Ayn Rand and against Ayn Rand. Can't have it both ways, Chris.
