Target discounting iPhone 4S to $149, iPhone 4 to $49 – in store only | 9to5Mac | Apple Intelligence

First Wally, later said to be rogue stores or mistakes, now Target. One of three things IMHO.

1. Apple is losing some control of their customers.
2. Sales are slow and very un Jobsian Apple is discounting.
3. The next iPhone is closer than we think and they're burning out inventory.

With my track record number 4 is probably right.
