It was Buffet who said that he would have no issues 'not' receiving Social Security because of his income status although would not decline it if offered.
He suggested it should be up to the lawmakers to decide who receives it or not cause he would not offer to give it up. So.., how nice for Warren. Can't say I blame him. He sounds reasonable.
The fact one might have paid in the 'max' allocation because of their income status over the years would then be denied their full share, leaves me disgruntled. This doesn't sound fair :((
If you pay in the max you should recieve the max benefit allowable. It is only fair.
What is not fair is those paying into the system at sub par levels due to a lower income status over the years and receiving better than what one would expect. This goes on!!
There needs to be a fair system for all.
Either its an insurance or its not. Insurance works evenly for one an all.
Unfortunately for us working stiffs, politicians do not work for the people's benefit, but instead work for their own benefits.

Politicians do not serve 'we the people' !
