Excellent points, GZ. Supposedly, the reason for the radical leftist election outcomes in Greece and France occurred because the people were demanding what they were promised by politicians. Of course, the politicians failed to deliver and, instead, delivered brutal and crushing austerity. The people want more money, less work, and more benefits. How will the new socialist governments "produce" these things? Out of thin air?
The cycle always seems the same.
1. Lazy idiots, dumb as a stump and without a pot to piss in, procreate like wild jackal and ask for the moon
2. Politicians promise the moon if elected
3. Central banks take their share (e.g., the overwhelming lion's share) first
4. Politicians desperately borrow more and more from the central banks, but still cannot fulfill their promises
6. Lazy idiots become pissed, vote the bastards out, and elect new politicians who promise the moon
The only group that is never held accountable are the owners of the central banks.
I personally do not give a damn if the central banks prey on individuals. Many people are greedy, selfish, self-centered, and impulsive. For example, if the idiots would rather spend $100 month for 18 months renting-to-own a new $400 television, instead of saving for a few months and buying it with cash, then they deserve what they get. However, the cental banks use the governments to prey on everyone who is not a member of the elite clique, and they do so at gunpoint. This MUST end, but how?
