Reported AppleCare training points to June Mountain Lion launch

The EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) division of AppleCare is allegedly hiring and training new staff on certain aspects of Apple's upcoming OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, possibly hinting that a release date is soon to arrive.

--------

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not thrilled with the new accelerated Mac OS release schedule Apple seems to be following these days.

It would be one thing if Apple supported older operating systems better, but with Mountain Lion coming out soon, that means Snow Leopard will no longer get critical updates -- much like Leopard is left out currently.

I hope Apple goes back to at least an 18-month schedule for new versions of Mac OS, less than once a year is just far to often if you ask me.
