I agree with that. Self interest is needed for survival but it also does not impinge on the rights or well-being of others, especially those who have to trust them - only greed does that. Greed is unrestrained desire. Eternity isn't enough time for it to be satisfied and the world doesn't contain enough money to quench it. Banks had, once upon a time, a simple community service mission - secure depositors' money at a modest interest rate and lend it out to qualified borrowers at a greater interest rate. The spread is their earnings. Am I missing something?
