I'm wondering if FARM's basic business is a SBUX casualty. FARM supplies coffee to SoCal restaurants. SBUX has been expanding their distribution channels to include restaurants to carry SBUX coffee in competitor restaurants, and many restaurants now carry SBUX as a beverage. There are other gourmet coffee brands doing the same.

This would be a secular change. Management typically has 2 choices with a dwindling business. 1) Return capital to shareholders gradually as the business slowly winds down, or 2) Make acquisitions, keeping the company alive and even growing in either its current field or an entirely new field.
