EXCO Resources, Inc. EXCO Resou (XCO) -NYSE

Closed out my swing trade position in XCO peeling off my high cost shares for a small profit. I hedge 50% of my shares w/ June $8.00 covered calls and plan to keep the other 50% of my shares for a long term "value" hold.

I acquired XCO shares w/ three buys between 2/2012 thru 4/2012 at an average cost of $6.85/share.

The company has been in talks to sell their interest in TGGT Midstream. I value this part to be at least worth $2.50/share. There also has been rumors of a JV deal w/ a major to partner to sell future production interests for financing current well development. Such a deal could relieve their current cash issues as well as allow them to maintain their land leases.

The stock traded 14% lower but missed the lows. Also, I wanted a larger net stock position but missed picking up additional shares. I did accomplish escaping with part of my value buys.
