It is voters at the margins in a dozen states who will decide this election. Romney and his surrogates will pound on this decision come Aug/Sept. It is stupid. Gays who pushed him into it and withheld money due to it are politically stupid. Just as stupid as they were in pushing Clinton back in '93 to change the military policy on gays. In fact, even more stupid than that, at least then it was in Clinton's first year after being elected. This comes before an election that should be close. In fact, unless Romney makes an equivalent stupid unforced error (which is possible given this guy's penchant for gaffes that at times rivals Biden's), I would say now if this election is NOT close, it will be Romney by a large margin, at least w/r/t the Electoral College. Larry McCarthy is licking his chops and thanking Biden as happily as Jon Stewart was thanking Donald Trump when Trump was toying with entering the race.
