Hi Carl,

You are only counting one side of the equation.

For example, a person who has had their life prolonged due to multiple sclerosis medical interventions might well argue as you just did.

The problem is that person may well could have avoided MS altogether, but the system isn't geared to spread key information to people that need it (it is geared to, tada, maximize profits).

youtube.com

But the medical system, as it is currently structured, will not provide that information. If Dr. Wahls had not gone out of her way and REJECTED the medical establishment's protocols (good thing she didn't listen to people how good it was and trusted herself, eh?), she'd be lying down in her specially made chair being asset stripped by the medical establishment.

Where are the legions of doctors and researchers knocking down Dr. Wahls door for doing what they claim is impossible?

BTW, some people in that situation might "thank" the system for keeping them alive - never knowing that their disease might have had external factors that could be adjusted to prevent the disease in the first place.

Lots of factors impact life expectancy. Some stats have come out that it is actually declining - but it is probably a bit up and down from year to year.

I can't comment on your specifics, but millions of people could avoid chronic disease and early death if they had proper information that the system not only ignores, it denigrates and lobs logically fallacy bombs so that people within the system won't bother to actually look at the evidence.

I'm not saying the whole system is bad - it isn't. It is amazing in many ways.

But there are structural problems based primarily in the greed of the system.

I, for one, much prefer not to be sick in the first place.
