Investors do not hide. They are out there on the battlefield. < where does an investor hide today? > There is a form of investment cryogenics called gold. But caution is advised. Gold is supposed to retain value through thick and thin. Look at a graph of gold price vs US$ over the last 100 years to see how reliable it is through thick and thin. From 1979 to 1999 it was down the gurgler. The last dozen years have been more fun. Gold is not investment. It is hopefully stored value. But even that is not a double your money back guarantee.
