January effect.... The big money is eagerly anticipating the "mother of all January effects" coming soon. Many smaller investors are getting shaken out of the market now and the big money should be coming in during early December. My read is that the "January effect", coupled with tremendous media coverage of this year's International CES, featuring HDTV, will propel ZE to a near-lifetime high. If this occurs (when a picture of a Zenith HDTV set is on the cover of TIME), recommend that Zenith announce a secondary offering of 10-15 million shares which could bring in an additional $150 to $300 million into Zenith's coffers. About $50 million should be allocated to upgading Zenith's entire computing system, $100 million to firm up the balance sheet and the rest for marketing and cementing additional "best of breed" partnerships.
