"I'm long AMAT and a bunch of other semi stocks.....and most days I wish that I had fewer shares.of AMAT." just remember.... that is what you want to feel when you are buying... and you wish you had more shares at the top.... Other than reinvesting dividends. I just started buying AMAT at $12 for my personal accounts... last buy was 1996 at $3.07. I sold enough in 1999 to get my original investment out at $24 and sold some more in 2000 at $34. The values now look much like early to mid 1990s....but with dividends.
