He's telling us MIS people to take control of the network by implement ing NC's instead of PC's, deciding what software does and does not go on the network and put up with a 32-bit version of window....in other words, MSFT Windows 95 with MSFT Office. Since NC requires at least two servers, I can only imagine one O/S that would keep the corporate configuration consistent....WINDOWS NTS.

Is there a vendor/consultant out there that is NOT endorsing NTS on the server.

Wait for NT 5.0. Latest issue of Information Week tells us that MSFT is introducing Directory Services in the next release due Nov/96. This should delay implementation of Green River until Q1, 1997.
