what percentage are you keeping for dry powder? has that changed over time? hopefully in 2007 you had lots of cash and didn't spend it all too quickly in 2008. lots of value guys i know got hurt jumping into the water too soon in 2008. and the unfortunate ones were stopped out in oct 08 or mar 09 and didn't get to participate in the rally. actually a lot of people and they haven't been able to generate good returns since. the other unfortunate ones were guys that were bearish in 08 and 09 and have not been able to change their view and got run over in 09 and since.
