Friedman nails it again. He's one of the few writers I follow. He has an excellent way of looking at things.

Just so you know... that's diametrically opposed to what Mitt & the current Republicans are proposing.

But yes, in many ways he nailed it. Sometimes the old USA feels like economic cannibalism; we're all eating off each others wealth. Or at least the 4-5% is eating off the wealth of the 95%. Or something.

"Economic cannibalism". Just invented that term, at least to my knowledge. Should do a copywrite on it; seems very appropriate these days.
