And who are you or Obama to decide who gets a trial and who does not?
It not about deciding "who gets a trial or not." It is about taking away the right for "protection against search and seizure". Right now the judge who issues that order is no different than a President who is the one we elect directly. We do not elect judges.

If we do not trust our President to uphold the Constitution, then we should impeach the President. After all, we should not be dealing with people we do not trust. Now while we are on this topic, we seriously need to consider if some of the articles in our Constitution need to be revised to reflect modern times. One such thing is the right to bear arms. That is nonsense in this day and age when we have a very well connected police force, surveillance equipment etc. etc. There are many civilized nations who do n ot have this right to bear arms and they have lesser incidents of crime than this country has. So is the right to illegal search and seizure of "suspected terrorists" particularly who are non citizens and have gained access to and operate on our soil. Just see through the stupidity of our laws where a terrorist operating from a foreign soil is fair game for our President. But the moment the terrorists gain access and enter the US their rights change?

MM, you really need to cast away your colored glasses and quit being swayed by the ideas and views of a octogenarian. I don't usually expect the views of a octogenarian to be in keeping with the evolving times.
