Based on economic size any one know what is the relative size of the Federal deficit for California?

Well, unless there has been a civil war and California won, there is no FEDERAL deficit in California.

But you saw where Jerry Brown announced that they are looking a STATE deficit of $16 Billion this, nearly double the projected deficit that was made in January.

So maybe I'm missing the point of your question?

If it's debt to GSP (Gross State Product), CA's economy is about $2 Trillion..

Overall state debt, and unfunded liabilities, is about $265 Billion

How does it rank on a per capital basis to other states?

How does this debt compare with those of other large states? On a debt per capita basis, we rank second highest at $2,362, with New York at $3,135. (Texas is the lowest at $520; Michigan follows at $748.)
