Re: Total Gas Leak

So, Total had a parallel gas leak going on in Nigeria, which they finally stopped.

This one was on land, so a lot easier to handle.

The phrasing of "should be stopped" (as opposed to "could be stopped") is new. AFAIK they've been talking about the leak ending "within days" for two weeks, which I find annoying. The reason I post on the news every few days is because I keep checking every few days because of their guidance.

Is this a real quote? a mistranslation? This seems like the sort of thing that got the ex-BP-CEO in a lot of trouble.

[Total CEO] described the leak as a "silly incident".
