Not for me. For whatever reason, GMO food (corn) makes me and my kids extremely ill. I need to know which foods have GMO. RIght now I just assume all corn is GMO- and that's a fairly safe assumption to make. So I only eat organic products, if corn is an ingredient. However, it would be nice for me, and people like me, to know what's in their food. And actually, it would be nice for other people to know that sensitivity to these foods can cause dramatic systemic illnesses that mimic Crone's and IBS. If more people knew this, they'd be able to modify their diets, and get rid of their disease, as my family has. Who knows how many of the Crone's and IBS sufferers are really just sensitive to their food? It's not like it's intuitive. You need to know, for example, that modified food starch is often corn. And many GMO foods have sobriquets that make it hard for consumers to identify them. This is a huge issue in our nation's health, I suspect. But no one really has any incentive to figure it out.
