RE:I've never said that Cymer won't continue to do a lot of business in the coming years in DUV. I have only attempted to point out where competition might come from in the future. Remember, the market factors in the future, and it would be prudent for all Cymer investors to keep a watchful eye on the "next" chip-making technologies. You never know who could be sneaking up on you! Akins agrees that x-ray is the next technology. They are developing a point-source for it. Tulvio knows more about this than I do. Wouldn't it be funny if Cymer comes to dominate point-source x-ray the way it dominates excimer lasers. They have four or five years to develop the technology and a R&D budget 15X greater than another San Diego company trying to develop the technology. "Cymer, the purest play in x-ray lithography." I like the sound of that. :-) Bob
