What's significant is delinquencies less nonaccruing loans. The trend in this area has been obvious.

I've been following several large regional banks (usb, bbt, sti pnc). Their 30-89 day delinquencies last qtr. were at record lows or close to it. Their 90 day plus delinquencies are also near record low levels. Pnc loan loss provision has already normalized - if fact some could argue it is below a normalized level. Usb, bbt and sti provisions are still well above their normalized levels - by year end I expect their provisions to in the 70 bsp range (annualized).
