RE:AVP I will most likely sit back now and see how Mrs. McCoy runs the company. This fall, if I like what's going on. I'll replace my higher cost basis shares (tax strategy). It's a big question mark if she will cut the dividend and break the long standing streak.

RE:NVDA I saw the news. I'll use the generic phrase. Don't put all your eggs in one basket unless you have some scale to spread your risk out.

If your comfortable with it. IMO- Buy some to swing trade and stay long with your lower cost basis shares. It's always easy to buy more . It's a lot a lot harder to unload some at a profit, when market conditions are negative. Review your position before the end of the year. Make sure you give yourself 30 days to avoid wash sale rules. That's if you are still bullish in the stock.
