Mike, I started this thread, and the AGRPA thread, simply
because no one else had, and I wanted to see some discussion
about these enterprises and stocks. I have, however, no special
knowledge, and only short-term experience with this sector.
I am pleased that a number of members from the WinStar thread
are taking the trouble to post here, and I suggest we should
take their comments into serious consideration. I hope that
we never see here the sort of antagonism that has developed
between the Intel and AMD threads: to understand the prospects
for any stock one must also understand the competition!
Currently I have long positions in AGRPA and WCII, but they
are a small part of my portfolio, together about 4%. I am
watching TGNT but have no position. Did you notice the volume
on the IPO day? A large part of the total float must have
changed hands: since apparently it was mostly institutions
that got IPO allotments, I take it that most of them are not
holding TGNT for the long haul.
