This is a different issue then as to whether Red States (or blue states) balance their budgets and live within their means.

Every state has to balance its budget. Its a given. CA does it without federal aid. In fact, CA pays in more to DC than it gets back. Sadly, year after year, decade after decade, many red states require help from DC to balance their budget. Now do you get it?

I do support Federal Largess to the poorer states. It helps create wealth. And mostly it is not the blue states themselves that are sending the money to Washington, but individuals or corporations.therein.

So.............you believe in socialism. Who knew?
