Whatever the past shortcomings of the QDEK management team may have been, I don't think adding insult to injury could be part of their plans now. It just seems that it would be wretchedly excessive of them to be inviting shareholders to a lavish XMAS party at company headquarters to extoll the virtues of a failed corporate strategy, or announce the impending demise of the firm. I have only been focused on this company for a few weeks, but this smells like an overwrought, oversold, bid-killing downdraft to me, based more on negative perception(however misplaced), and tax-loss selling, rather than the improving fundamentals, which are on the back burner in the near term. Granted, profitability in Japan may be a valid concern, since I'm sure sales there are important to the turnaround schedule. I feel in my gut that this to, shall pass, in time. Just how much time is the pertinent question. It's certainly no fun being underwater without a snorkel.
