We speak so fiercely against Social Security. The problem is that we have borrowed funds from it and spent it on things like fighting unnecessary foreign wars. Now we are left bankrupt. We need to pass a law to ban all borrowing from Social Security. Why aren't the Republicans pushing for that? If they do, I am sure they will find a groundswell of support.
