O and Hollande are as we type trying to convince Merkel to forget about any austerity measures, and instead raise taxes for EU high earners to 75%. Perhaps the USA will feel a second European great migration when that happens, only this time - unlike the 19th century - we'll receive the "not so tired, not so poor" demographic.
