Interesting (?) Facebook moment yesterday. My wife fell at the horse barn and had a compound fracture of her wrist. Really bad, bone sticking out . Ambulance to the hospital, xrays, surgery, now on 48 hours of IV antibiotics. (All in all a hellish day). Facebook part is that I could post updates and most everybody, friends and family could keep informed. Otherwise I would have been calling dozens of people, they would have been calling me back with the same questions, I would have had less time to pay attention to her and her doctors. As it was, we had our own private news network, where I only had to answer each question once, only had to give updates once. Cost me nothing and true value to me at a very stressful time. The stock may or may not be worth anything but the service was truly invaluable yesterday. FWIW.
