Again you are ascribing intent and flat out timeline errors. He got out to follow (not confront) according to Zimmerman and he was told he did not need to follow after he was already out of the truck and following - furthermore he claims he broke off and was going back to his truck when he was told he did not need to follow. The suggestion to not follow is not a legal order - he broke no laws.

At the moment he got out of the vehicle, he was violating what a neighborhood watchman should do.

What are you talking about - neighborhood watch is only conducted from cars?
