Most acquisitions finalize valuation several months after the transaction. Fair values need to be assigned to all the other assets with goodwill being the final plug number. For now, amounts are suspended. NFI should have everything completed in time for next years 10-K, perhaps earlier. That particular transaction should raise some eyebrows with the auditors. How much is compensation expense and how much is truly purchasing an asset?
