Apple started the production run for Ipad 3 on Jan 1 and launched it in mid March. Depending on how many territories Apple wants to cover at launch, they may need 3 months or more production before they can launch Iphone5. I think the 4 inches screen shipment is the first real rumor that we hear about Iphone 5 production. So it would seems mid-late August is the earliest Iphone 5 launch days.

Foxconn new plant for some future product. However, from the article:

It is not clear which Apple products are expected to be built in the plant, but construction will begin in October of this year, perhaps ruling out possibility of the factory producing the sixth-generation iPhone that is rumored to go into production in June.


Of course it is all rumor but my original assertions was that I see no reason why the new iPhone couldn't be announced/released around June.
