I think during one of the debates the candidates were asked if they would accept a tax increase if it was pared with 10X the amount in cuts. All said no.

I think this is a mistake. BUT the tax cuts would have to be REAL (no smoke and mirrors) would have to happen BEFORE the tax increase went into effect. And I'd start the bidding at 20 to 1.

Short of these conditions, absolutely no tax increases.
