Cheryl, last post on this issue. I promise.

You must have glanced at the headlines and summary only (and not all of them). To REALLY understand, it takes time ... but you have to READ the referenced links.

I may have missed a linked to link somewhere, but I've read at least 95% of these items. I just don't accept everything I read as gospel. I need to have some sense of the source's credibility and would like confirmation from several different sources. (My handle wasn't chosen lightly).

You did get one of the main points. NO ... we would be able to muster the resources.

I assume you meant "NO ... we would NOT be able to muster the resources."

I don't have time to debate issues. I prefer to use my time compiling additional research and trying to pull the pieces of the Y2K puzzle together ... which hopefully will be of benefit to some on this thread.

It sounds like the puzzle is complete for you. If so, what's the point of additional research? Shouldn't we all just quit our jobs, cash out our IRAs, and party for the next two years?

I'm actually much more in agreement with you than I'm letting on. I just haven't removed all doubt from my mind yet.

I didn't intend to debate you personally. I'd like to hear where others stand on the inevitability of Armageddon on 1/1/2000. Unfortunately for you, you're clearly their chosen leader.

I admire your dedication,
