Honestly, no need to take offense.

I just usually treat ladies with a bit more deference and respect than I might use on a crusty, stinky ol guy. Must be from my southern upbringing.

And I usually avoid engaging in any confrontational discussions with ladies, probably because of, again, my southern upbringing.
