Read some history or better yet....stop and think and stop feeding your stupidity. "There are simply no rights in an atheistic universe" A universe is not atheistic or otherwise. LOL! An atheistic universe or a Christian onion. Wake up and talk sense! Rights are entitlements which people agree on based on their natures, their intelligence, and their experience. They vary from culture to culture and from time to time. Philosophers have debated for centuries on the best ways of deciding rights and what those rights should be. In the ages ruled by superstition (the Church) behaviour was dictated by special spokespersons for the god of the day. Thus, certain people were given divine privileges while others were made slaves or else murdered as evil (heretics, scientists, thinkers, etc.). Fortunately, secular government as suborned the church and usurped her power at determining ethics. This bothers people like you a lot because you wish to have an unearned superiority. But--too bad!!
