Re: re FB - interesting to see so much blame for the FB IPO but is Morgan Stanl ""goog let the market price it's stock."" The 2 GOOG founders TRIED to do a Dutch Auction aorund $120, it was a flop. THey said they want a "fair price" ..blah blah. Well a Dutch Auction means the top bidders get stock....so when it starts trading who is left to pay higher? No one, obviously. WHat fool buyer wants that? So the $120 range was reduced and the 2 founders thankfully opted to wash their hands of it and let the underwriters do their job. THey priced the deal at $85 and it opened at $100. Nice pop for buyers.....buyers happy. The rest is history and the greedy effing Founders didn't sell at the IPO. They sold later at FAR higher prices. Don't let anyone kid you....these owners are greedy as hell.
