Values in our neck of the woods went up so high so fast and came crashing down just as fast. Houses 125k to 300k and back 125k. Condos 40k to 200k and back to 40k. Obviously lncredible fallout some gamed the system others were unwilling patsies to the 'ownership society'. The honest people who put up the most cash got screwed the most it seems.
