I too lost a good deal of money on Seagate, with one exception: My shares are held in a IRA account, so I can't even take advantage of the tax loss (My gains are in non-IRA accounts). I always thought that tax-deferred accounts were neat, because you don't have to worry about capital gains till you retire, but I guess there's a downside to that, too.

PS. Since I don't need the money for a while, I intend to hold on till it recovers. It will.
