I'm breaking my promise because that last post was totally unfair.

You took a statement I made about TPRO: "I've just started looking at XXXX and have been following the posts for several days.", and are trying to use it to discredit my knowledge of Y2K.

I've been investigating Y2K for at least two years, have been lurking here for about a year, and have been religiously reading ALL of the posts on the general threads for at least two months.

Ed Yardeni said there is a 40% chance of a global recession. That's a long way from an inevitable economic crisis. Just because these very credible people acknowledge that there is a Y2K problem does not imply that they also are certain that it is too late to do anything about it!

P.S. Maybe you thought I was questioning your credibility. I wasn't. I was refering to the authors and industry sources in the numerous articles from various magazines that your links pointed to.
