No freaking way can Nokia make any headway with 2.2% market share... and that 2.2% is market share that is shared... and growing well below the market growth... blogs.computerworld.com Even though Windows Phone market share dropped, it had a small increase in the number of phones sold from the first quarter of 2011 to the first quarter of 2012, from 2.6 million to 3.3 million, an improvement of 700,000 phones, a 26.9% increase. That means it's not growing nearly as fast as the overall smartphone market, in which 49.9% more smartphones where shipped in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the first quarter of 2011. So not only the market that Nokia is addressing is tiny, it is getting smaller still every quarter... while their market for feature phones is fast disappearing...
